How TeamMate

SMS Works

The TeamMate SMS Connector is a unique add-on to Microsoft Office 365 which allows you to read, write and manage text messages from a native workflow in Microsoft Teams.  It does not require special Microsoft licensing – it will work with any Teams User.  The Service Provider links an SMS-enabled DID to a Teams User and creates a branded Teams Application.  Bring-your-own SMS carrier (BYOC) is required and is currently available for a growing list of SMS Gateway carriers.  Any Teams user that relies on business texting will love this integration.

Configure your TeamMate partner portal settings so you have an SMS Gateway DID provider, branding and a Teams Application template in place.  You are ready to begin customer provisioning.

Connect your 1st business customer’s SMS phone number(s) to their Microsoft Teams users.  No additional Microsoft license required.

Start sending and receiving business text messages from Microsoft Teams.  In short, where-ever you use Teams you will be able to send or receive business text messages.  The Teams userI will receive notifications in Teams for inbound texts – never miss a message.
